(WIP) Untitled Parkour Shooter
A downloadable game
Very Very early version of the game, I just want some people to give me some feedback on how to improve the existing features, so I can get some things a bit more polished before working on new things. Inputs are fairly simple, WASD to move, mouse to look around, Space to jump, C to crouch/slide, Left Shift to sprint, Left Click to shoot, R to reload, and Number Keys and Scroll Wheel to switch between the three weapons, and Right Click to make an Energy Rope. You can also shoot the shotgun while jumping to get an extra boost. Right now there isn't much gameplay so please just give me feedback on the features, like Shooting and Wall Running.
UPDATE #1
I've added so much new stuff I don't even know what's in the old version and what's not. I've added an active ragdoll that you can toss around, oh yeah and you can pick up stuff now with F, you can pickup and drop weapons with E and Q, I've added HeadBobbing, and sounds for almost every action in the game, oh and the shotgun was wayy to overpowered so it can no longer make an energy rope. and last but not least I've added slow-motion.
UPDATE #2
WIP Knife and a health system for the robot enemy. Press "T " to Revive the Robot after its dead. And last but not least, UI for the weapons in the bottom left of the screen.

A few bug fixes. Camera Recoil system for when you shoot a gun. After falling, there is now a Land Impact effect to make the game play better. And I added a Menu. Press Esc to open the Menu.

Pretty fun actually. There are some bugs with the crouching/sliding. If slide into a ramp and spam crouch, you can phase through the floor. Also the wall running is a bit weird since you can run up the walls vertically. Kind of like all the walls are ladders. I invented some movement tech that I will call "People Surfing". I had a lot of fun running through the map! Excited to see where this goes.
Dang bro you are better than me at my own game!, I've never seen those bugs before, also I know its been a while since the last update but the thing i'm working on is very hard to implement lol, especially because this is my first game.
This game is very similar to Karlson. I recomend adding a gimick that makes it stand out from Karlson, like interesting abilites or a more intersting map. Maybe a futuristic city, or a cyberpunk dystopia if you are feeling ambitious, however that might take too long.
The weapon models look very nice, if you made them yourself, you should add melee weapons, perhaps a laser sword or something.
Yeah right now it is very similar to Karlson, I'm just trying to get the core features down before I do anything else, I do have a story in mind for what the game is going to be about, and I do want to add more abilities, but don't you think a laser sword is copying Karlson a bit much too? also this is just a test map, definitely not going to be in the actual game lol.
Of course of coruse. Its always better to start with the core features. Early polish is a bad idea. I know a laser sword is very similar to the katana in Karlson, however your modeling skills are quite good and having a lightsaber would be fun. Although it might be a good idea to stray away from anything more to do with Karlson and focus on a new direction with the 3d parkor genre.
